I have never tried this model. My history with Logitech has not been great. Their headsets had good sound and features, but the build quality was terrible. They stood behind their warranty, but it was annoying having to make so many warranty claims.

I got this 4 years ago. The top cushion/head band of the headset is constructed so poorly, that overtime it's inevitable that the snaps that keep the cushion pad in place will break. It happened one year in with my set. Also the mic dongle has lost its "stickiness" - like when you move it up and down, it won't stay at the position I want it at, and it just tilts all the way down - hope that makes sense.

However it's a great sounding headset. I can actually hear enemy footsteps in apex!

While I do like it, there's definite build quality issues.

While I do like it, there's definite build quality issues.
I have the Gen 4 and the top piece on mine has no issues and it's extremely comfortable. I can wear it for hours on end with no issue. Definitely have the mic issue where it no longer stays in place. I ended up putting a couple rubber bands on the end where it swivels and it works just fine again. The firmware also seemed to corrupt itself at one point and I needed to boot it into the bootloader and reinstall it. The headset sure has some issues but it sounds great and it's still going strong after nearly 5 years.

This is a really old headset. Gaming headsets don't age well compared to audiophile headsets which age good. Tread with caution. I personally think $150 is still overpriced.

These are horrible. My first one the microphone got 'loose' so the swivel to mute didn't work after a few months. The second one had a manufacturer defect where the strap on the top falls off and stabs your head, it is very uncomfortable.

EDIT: Also they've abandoned their Windows Store app where it doesn't recognize the headset and is impossible to update firmware. It's currently sitting there with a 1.8 star overall rating.

Mine lasted a year. Such shitty build quality. People will say "well I didn't get one like that!" I totally wouldn't risk it. I bought Sennheisers and never looked back.

I had the Gen 3s and I actually had to go through multiple pairs. They were always a pain and I never could get a "new" pair from Amazon. I know that's not necessary to the point of these.. cause it's not Astro/Logitech's fault. But that just goes to show the quality control of these headphones in general. I now have other headphones that work even better, sound just as good, rarely have any problems, and have better amenities. I made the switch from these A50s to Sony H7/H9s and have never looked back. Hope this helps anyone who is looking for new headphones and is considering these.

I'd say its ANC. The Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headsets have them and are consistently reviewed very well, even at the $349 original msrp.
