One thing I would consider is how neat you and your kids are. The thing about robot vacs is that they have rollers that will go under the couch and under the bed and pick up all kinds of things that can clog up the vacuum. I look under my vac weekly and can't count the number of times I've found hair bands, jewelry, paper receipts, face masks, string, rubber bands, even socks wrapped around the roller and/or blocking the intake -- not to mention the hair and strings wrapped around the main brush or the side brush or the wheels . So while auto-empty sounds nice, I just don't get the notion that you can "set it and forget it" for months at a time. It's a mechanical device that requires attention to run efficiently. My 2 cents.

I have this version in white, but I opted for the S7 auto empty dock instead of the pure/Q dock since it's compatible despite there being no mention of it on their website.
I have 2 heavy shedding dogs 1 long hair 1 short hair in a ~800sqft carpeted apt. My vac is scheduled to run once a day and I have some presets if I want to add an additional run. It works really well and I have been very impressed. The building has terrible window and door seals so the building is fairly humid and hot in the summer so I'll get bad allergies. This paired with an air purifier has really improved my QoL considering I despise vacuuming. I should note that I don't use the mop.
Some simple pros/cons:
Pros:
-Great on carpet and hard floors for dust and pet hair.
-really easy to clean and maintain
-the auto empty bin really brings it to a whole new level especially if you need to empty after every run like I do.
-I really really love the app and it can be set up in home assistant
-the bags seem small but it really packs them full so it's very affordable to re-up.
-it works quick and I use maybe 30-40% charge for one full run.
Cons:
-the mop doesn't lift so you can't use it to vacuum carpet and mop in a single run.
-the mop is really only good for keeping things tidy. It's no good for messes and certainly not if pet hair is involved.
-my long haired dog hair will pack the dustbin to tightly and keep the bin from emptying if I do a full sweep and take ANY days off from running it. For big areas you might need to run a partial, empty it, then run another partial
-does not avoid toys, sheets, cables, etc and it not great on small rugs
-doesn't support
-it will not run "back to back" cleanings so if you tend to have to empty it more than once, you will have to schedule them accordingly.
Hope this helps!
How does the Q7 compare? My house is mostly tile with a few area rugs. WE do have a lab that sheds.

Also, beware when a robovac finds wet piles of anything but especially with pets. Poopageddon is a thing. Ask me how I @#$%ng know.
Mopping features on Robovacs are close to useless unless you dedicate a unit to just doing that IMO.
I have this Q7 unit and it's great for vacuuming, otherwise. I'm waiting for the Roborock auto-empty dock units to come down from orbital prices. Someone needs to make aftermarket conversion kits for these.
We have two cats, three tweens, dark hardwood throughout, and a few no-pile area rugs (Ruggable). The S4 was great for our first foray but about 2.5 years in it was really losing suction so I decided to get the Q5 with the auto-empty dock. We've had the Q5 for around 7-8 months and the suction has remained fantastic to-date. I never found emptying the bin annoying but the auto-empty dock is super useful and I'm glad I got it. I think I've only had to change the bag once so far and I run the vacuum a few times a week. And our cats put out a lot of hair and there are always crumbs and more crumbs from husband and tweens.
I opted not to get the mopping feature because with our ultra dark hardwood, I had images of streaking and weirdness and didn't want more things to mess with--especially with cats and kids.
Regular maintenance on these is a breeze. The most common thing I have to do on ~a biweekly basis is de-hair the roller--but I have long hair as does one of our tweens. I have not tried to see if I can get one of the other rollers that is usually better for hair. I've found non-OEM parts that fit well and are inexpensive (on the Q5, not all of the filters fit right but the second batch I found after digging through reviews are a winner).
We've set up our house so that moving things for vacuum running is a breeze. I take 2 minutes to run through and pick up various items that get in the way. I love that I can set no-go areas--like under the vanity in the kids' bathroom (he gets stuck under there) and the laundry room, which is in a perpetual state of chaos. All of our bedframes are high off the floor so the vacuum runs under them--so great.
The biggest issue in our house is my husband's errant socks. So, he's no longer allowed to run the vacuum without supervision

First time using such device. Ran it about 5 times a week ever since(dust/mop) and felt it did a good job. Only time it got stuck was when we forgot to pick up a sock left on floor.
Hard wood floor, 3 younger kids, lots of long hair from wife, and a small dog. Set to auto empty dust bin, and bag lasted longer than stated usage.
Scrub pad thrown in washer every other week, and personally mopped every other weekend. Manually filled water tank every other day.
Once a month or so I would flip over and remove hair/string that was caught on main/side brush, but it was never enough to cause it to stop vacuuming.
Dust bin would occasionally get clogged (nerf gun ammo) but a simple drain weasel was enough to clear debris.
WARNING: dog left a small accident on dark rug, which no one saw, robot picked up and smeared over large portion of house and baseboard.
After 2 years of using consistently, noticed it was not "scrubbing" as well, and would leave a thin mopped streak as opposed to a solid scrub brush width.
Scrubbing unit would occasionally make a grinding sound, but would continue to mop. Full charge would get the job down, after which it would auto empty dust and charge.
Last week we noticed and bought QXrevo deal from Costco, approximately $650 with auto empty dust bin, auto fill/empty water, and auto dry mop.
THIS THING IS AMAZING. Much quieter and obstacle avoidance. Many other useful features to list, but over all feel QXrevo was a better deal since it comes with multifunction dock.
The reason I will not bite though is that it does not have obstacles avoidance as the lidar shoots at about 3-4" above the floor (i e., pet waste, power cords and such) It needs front facing cameras to be able to decipher what is ahead of it on the floor. The better models of this brand do that well. It also has hairs that will wrap around the roller.
So, I will stick with my j7 that has better obstacles avoidance and two rollers that suck hair inside the dust collector.
Hope this helps a few.
