Ryobi is releasing their barrel grip brushless jigsaw this month...at least they're supposed to be. You can see it on their website. Could be why they're giving this one away.

Just letting people know in case they'd rather hold out another week or two for a better model.

Sometimes I go Ryobi when I don't need a lot of power. If I do, I go with another brand. I made the mistake before of going with this jigsaw before. Should have got the more expensive dewalt/Milwaukee/etc version

I have this jig saw. Have to turn the saw at a 20* angle just to get it to cut straight.
