Southwest - Lowest R/T SAN-MCI 11/06/24 to 11/09/24 $399.96

United - Same dates, Lowest fare is $238.
Delta - $238
American - $231

Then there's Spirit if you would care for a fist fight at the gate or inflight at $164.

Typical Southwest non-deal.

Sure it is. On specific routes. On specific days. Available to everyone.

YMMV is for the softheads who don't understand the sale or how to read fine print. They see $29 and expect to see whatever they want for $29. For those folks I recommend continuous use of pro-tec helmets.

Probably select Tuesdays/Wednesdays. Looked up a CA flight I have for next month and it's like $300 rdtp for even worst times

FYI - Is Southwest screwing up this promotion? If you know your dates of travel, the website seems to be operating OK. But, at this time, I cannot pull up the Low Fare Calendar for any California city combination. I keep getting an error.

Might have to do that instead of Oakland since the cheapest to fly out of there to BUR is $79. But then again, Vegas is cheaper out of OAK. Decisions decisions

Wish I could find a deal from BUR-ATL but everything I could find is pretty pricey.
I live about 15 min from the BUR airport and it's so much easier than LAX but I usually have to pay a premium to fly out of there.

They are what they are, they're not hiding anything. There's no YMMV. Anyone can book them.

Have you seen how expensive fights are on PPV? Be glad Spirit doesn't upcharge for flights with passenger fights to bring in extra revenue.

Ahaha. I usually fly American and have done 4 flights with Spirit and everything have been okay. I got to tell you that the tickets are at least 35% less than American but when it comes to people in Spirit, some of them seem a bit weird lol

We fly spirit for 'bonus
Travel' when RT flights are priced rock bottom/20-30% of other airlines' pricing. Be careful booking far out.

Their merger with JetBlue was blocked recently

From a bankruptcy lawyer starting to sound the unofficial warning bells, YMMV:

"Spirit Airlines has downgraded 100 captains and has announced furloughs for 240 pilots and stopped accepting orders from Airbus.

The company has lost money 5 of the last 6 quarters with expectations of 30% loss this quarter.

Long term debt comes due next year. Their stock has dropped 82% this year.

I am not providing investment advice but I am a bankruptcy attorney. This company has every red flag of imminent insolvency.

I predict Sprit will be in bankruptcy before Christmas and they will likely never emerge to normal operations.
Make informed decisions when purchasing air travel....
