Don't forget to register the watch with Casio. They often extend the warranty one more year if your register it online. To be honest, is not like you will need that warranty anyways.

I have had this exact watch in my Amazon wish list for a year. Hard to pass up at half price, in for one. I just hope I get the EL backlight.

Quite possibly the most durable watch in the universe. Probably a tie in lifespan with a Seiko 5 if taken care of. Only con is the watch bands get brittle with age.

Wow, that is an amazing price for the 5600! This is the classic G-Shock square and these things are damn near unkillable. Also a perfect entry into the greatness of Casio watches; fair warning though, collecting G-Shocks can become an addiction very quickly.

If you end up digging the DW5600, definitely check out the upgraded version, the GWM5610. The addition of Tough Solar and Multiband 6 make it one of the all-time great watches under $100.

Honestly if you feel you will wear it often I'd just skip this and spend a bit more for the GWM5610. The upgrades are worth it.

Bought the first one back in 2018 for $40 on Amazon. I don't remember if I had the battery replaced yet, but it's still going.
