Yes, but considering this is a prebuilt from Costco, you're covered if anything happens.

Considering picking this up to day, I do more multitab browsing, Photoshop and premiere than I do gaming (although I wouldn't mind seeing how fortnite might run if better than PS5)

Anyone familiar with these specs and 4k editing?

I went to Costco to see the PC, and the case is clean, nice build with the Christmas lights, and the keyboard has a scroll wheel... The Best Buy unit that competes has a case with a big logo on it, which is a deal breaker for me.

Love to hear yalls thiughts. (Outside of what I can see in reddit/Google). Thanks!

It was 999 in store when I saw it, with a price tag saying 849 on 8/28.. so I'm assuming all you is the $15 shipping.

Did you try to re-install Windows yet? If not and you want to give it a try, you can follow this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUTdRZNqODY
Note: after a fresh install, your machine might not have the drivers for the track pad, wireless card yet (i.e. you need a usb mouse, an internet cable to connect your laptop to the router). Everything will work correctly (trackpad, wireless card ...) after you update everything in Settings | Windows Update. That's what happened with my MSI Cyborg laptop.
Re install for what ? I'm wondering about performance of the two. Laptop vs the desktop

Are the power supply and gpu upgrade easy on this?
For 40 series, power supply should not a big issue, you shall think about the case size if enough for 4070 even 4080

Are you saying this case isn't big enough for an upgrade to those cards?

I just bought this (am waiting for shopping/delivery) and stacked a few deals to make it even better.
Costco has a $100 Instacart GC for $80. On the page it says limit 2, so if you use two it's $40 off (which helps cover the cost of Instacart unless you already have other benefits). In the checkout flow, I changed the number of GCs from 2 to 5, and it let me check out and sent me the GC codes, and all 5 of them worked on Instacart when I applied them to my account. It seems like more would work for an additional $20 off per GC you purchase.

It looks like Sams Club has a similar deal, though I can't speak to their limits:
https://slickdeals.net/f/17568198-sam-s-club-members-100-instacart-egift-card-email-delivery-80

Chase has a 10% cash back (up to $60 I think) at Instacart (YMMV), which has sort of an inverse benefit with the gift card discount. At least on whatever balance you don't use GCs for would get the cash back, but that may be more or less valuable for some, plus the GC limits according to each retailer may make you use fewer of those. I had the offer on mine and it should work on my balance of ~$450.

PayPal also has a 20% savings on select accounts, but I didn't have this offer on my account so I can't confirm the details, but similar to above it probably will only work on the balance after GCs.

Looking through the information and pics on Costco, estmati it may able to contain bigger size graphic card, but can not sure 100% for that, we do not know whether any design will against graphic card position. BTW, if u really worry about power supply, u could check result on any PC power supply calculator of website, as my experience, to top the 600W 80+ gold is Ok for 4070 on normal using.

I'm sure I didn't have to but I did; I'm fine tipping delivery drivers. I did adjust it since it's only one item and not a huge order of the same value. We'll see if that affects the acceptance of the order though (it hasn't been delivered yet).

I don't have an Instacart account, can you tell me how much the desktop cost on Instacart?

Oh I'm not overly concerned about psu, that was someone else. I'm not as quite versed in the form factors of pcs so that's why I asked.

Item Subtotal: $1,012.99
Sales Tax: $70.29
Tip: $--
Retailer Discount: -$150.00
Retailer Coupon Discount: -$11.05 (I'm not sure what this is - I don't use Instacart often so it may have been a new customer type offer or something)

If you built this cpu on for example Newegg.com with same specs - would it be cheaper?

Interesting - and you're saying you can use more than 5 if you want?
