As several people mentioned, this is a WOLED panel sourced from LG Display. However, it is much more in line with the B4 than the C4. It comes in slightly behind the B4 in most measurements except for Viewing angle and Reflection Handling. It is also ridiculously thin, if that sort of thing makes you drool.

In a day where TV's are going for pennies, buying a 77" for $2000+ is criminal. This will be cheaper come Black Friday in 3 months..
It also has No Dolby Vision or DTS audio support and Unlike Samsung's OLEDs from 2023, the S85D doesn't support ATSC 3.0 for 4k over-the-air, as Samsung has dropped that feature on their 2024 4k models.

I got my 77" S90C for less half a year ago. Unless I'm missing something I fail to see how the 85D is a good deal at this price. I thought this set was only 120hz. My S90C does 144hz 4K HDR, but I don't use VRR because it causes flickering on OLEDs.
