Sheeps listened to some fat influencer on Youtube so it must be true lol
I've personally received a Cpu that was clearly damaged before shipping (was securely inside a second box that was not damaged) and was denied a replacement and blamed for the damage from Newegg. Haven't done business with them since and never will again.

Their customer service has taken a dive ever since it was acquired like 10+ years ago. Look for the videos from Gamers Nexus. I used to order only from Newegg until there was a considerable number of others having problems with the site. Problems like re-packaged returns being sold as new and lots of DOA products being difficult to get refunds and replacements for. It's hit or miss, but generally not worth the risk.

Just don't buy any "Open Box" stuff off of Newegg.
You still wouldn't be safe. Their return QA is sub-par. Plenty of people over the years have reported damaged and previously returned items being sold as new (poorly re-packaged and even DOA). It doesn't take much time to research it and see that they have lost significant reputation points over the years.
I have ordered my fair share of parts for many years from Newegg. All the parts for different computers, monitors, home theater stuff and I never had one problem with an item.
You know that Gamers Nexus videos show that newegg has changed its processes entirely as a result, right?
I only buy from newegg when they are cheaper than Amazon, but I've had zero issues with my several orders over the last few months.
I haven't had any issues with newegg recently but I haven't had any problems with recent orders that needed support either. I avoid newegg largely because when I got a DOA 4090 at launch they said the item "wasn't returnable" and would only refund instead of replace the item which wasn't really an option since they'd been scalped to 40%+ over MSRP by that point lol
Bought a GPU that was just garbage years ago, tried to exercise their no questions asked return, and was told they wouldn't honor it.
I filed a bad review on reseller ratings and then mysteriously a high end MacBook Pro was charged to my account for shipping to Texas. After that transaction was stopped they banned my account from ever shipping there again.
Upon researching the issue, I found multiple people that had the same shady experience after posting a bad review for the company.

I looked up the motherboard on Amazon and the AI-generated summary of the reviews says there may be problems with network stability.
