This seems like a good deal.
8-core Zen 3 U series APU
Screen is IPS and 300 nits according to Lenovo.
2 year eBay refurb warranty (Allstate)
Only downside is 16GB RAM is soldered with no slots available to upgrade.

How are the VipOutlet Certified Refurbished Laptops? Anybody have any experience with them? I think this is more bang for my buck than the ASUS Vivobook Go: https://slickdeals.net/f/17705505-asus-vivobook-go-15-6-fhd-oled-ryzen-5-7520u-16gb-lpddr5-512gb-ssd-w-zip-399-99?src=SiteSearchV2Algo

I think so too, although the OLED on the ASIS Vivobook Go looks more enticing.

The Vivobook has an OLED Screen, but only 4 Zen 2 CPU cores compared to 8 Zen 3 cores on this laptop. So depending on your workload, you're looking at a ~15-100%+ (1T vs nT) CPU improvement by going with the Lenovo. iGPU is also stronger on the Lenovo but neither are suitable for gaming.
I've purchased 2 eBay cert refurbs and they work just fine, with no aesthetic blemishes whatsoever. But ymmv

Thanks for the replies, I think I am going to go for this one. I already have a gaming PC so I am just in the market for a laptop for grad school (coding and schoolwork), and I favor the performance over the OLED.

CS Dept recommended i7, 16 gb ram, 512 gb ssd, looking to spend approx $700 max
I don't know the difference between i7 and Ryzen 7?

No where does it say 2 year allstate warranty

Says it (2-year warranty) in the section that states it's eBay refurbished. Also has a link to the description of the Allstate warranty.

You are seeing the sellers (VIPOUTLET) warranty statement

Saying i7 is very vague, but I would assume they mean a modern 'i7' (intel did rebranding recently) like the a Core Ultra 7 155H, which is significantly faster than the R7 5825U in this laptop.

You can probably save money by going for a previous gen i7 1360p laptop, but the Core Ultra laptops are vastly better in power efficiency, GPU, AI, etc, so if you can spend the $700ish you should

Thank you, so of those 3, which would you recommend?
I'm not sure how I feel about Asus or Acer

Someone also recommended this, what are your thoughts?
Lenovo IdeaPad Laptop, Intel i7-1255U Processor, 15.6 FHD IPS Anti-Glare Screen, 40GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, Backlit Keyboard, SD Card Reader, Type-C, Wi-Fi-6, Win 11 Pro, w/WOWPC Bundle, Gray https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D47MT8C8

I need a laptop for strictly running 3d printing software like Bambu Studio or Orca, as well as Fusion 360 for some basic modeling. Is this sufficient?

I bought a laptop from them. Came in looking essentially brand new in a generic box.
