Let be clear on their unlocking policy. There is 365 days waiting time, and also the phone should have service for 180 days within 365 days. This is per my recent conversation with their customer service agent.
Please remember that their unlock policy criteria does not specify automatic unlock regardless of the service time.

You're missing the point here. 99% of us only want to pay $125 1x to get the phone. You want to pay $70 a month for 2 years. Not us😀

I called them and they said that since I havent opened the box or activated the phone, that they would give me a full refund. Not sure if i could trust the reps though

I bought a Samsung A15 from Metro and was expecting to have to wait 180 days for the automatic unlock, similar to a Nord N30 from Metro I also purchased. I inserted my T-Mobile SIM into the A15 and it recognized it immediately. It also automatically changed my boot screen and pretty much all the phone settings to the T-Mobile network. Not sure if this was a loophole that's been fixed, though.

so I traded off the iphone 12 w/o even setting up the esim. Now I want to setup the esim from metro on my own other pixel phone. Has anybody had luck doing so? I am not able to get into the metro tmobile account.
