Performance is code word for "Polyester", i.e. plastic. There is nothing performance about dress pants, it's not like you're doing yoga or running wearing them! These will look like ladies' slacks on men, avoid unless you really know what you're getting into.

How come no one complains about the polyester in Lululemon pants and they are over 3 times the price of these?

I will admit I am not a fan of rayon. They don't drape well.

There is a lot of unfamiliarity and misinformation in these forums about many, many topics, textiles being one of them.

There is nothing wrong with buying artificial/synthetic yarns.

Finally someone who provided some useful information. While material blend is important to consider i don't really care what they are made out of if the fit is not flattering. If these pants drape like a sack cloth or cling to your legs, even if they were free in a setting where you need to wear them they are not worth it for everyday use.
