BB deal was great, and this one isn't bad either. Both can be true. Not everyone can spend literally hours or nearly an entire day to take advantage of bb deal.. not to mention the time to order the trade in, credit, refund, stress of it so.
Mint deal is one and done. Surprise Google is offering this at launch. There's helluva lot more deals with P9 vs P8... eBay, swappa, fb will be flooded for a while.
What's important is that the SIM card pack is separate from the phone. I resold the SIM card pack on ebay. Kept the phone and used it on my existing Mint plan (just moved old SIM to new phone)
Edit: never mind, it's already 60 days!

I've seen multiple people asking if 1) these devices will unlock automatically 60 days after being powered on, or 2) if they'll only unlock after inserting a Mint SIM and activating it (would a Mint Mobile 7 day trial SIM work?), or 3) if it'll require both activating a Mint Mobile SIM and staying active for 60 days. I've seen one SDer in this thread respond, and said that it's going to be option #3, however, my interpretation of Mint Mobile's unlocking policy seems to indicate that option #2 (with 7 day trial SIM, which shipped alongside these Pixel 9s) would work as well. I'm trying option #2 (7 day trial SIM) myself and will report back, but if any of you happen to know how my attempt will play out, please help clarify.

#1 : Can I active (with port in) and then move the 12 month SIM into another unlocked phone?
#2 : Will the phone still get unlocked after 60 days? I can put a different mint SIM (not the one comes with the box)
