FYI, and YMMV. I was shopping some stuff at the JBL website a couple days ago, and they sent me a unique 20% off code that brings these down to $400. So if you're not all in, you might want to visit the product page, poke around a little, and then leave to see if they'll send you a coupon. Note, I already had an account which is where the email showed up, so you probably need to sign up for an acct and log in first

Price went down to$499 when added to Cart, but during checkout shows $1995.99 again and you don't see the final cost before placing the order.
Coupon for 20% off showed right away after opening the page and I don't have an account.

I was using paypal checkout, and it showed as $399.99 at paypal. I didn't complete checkout though

10" tower speakers are going to be power hungry for proper audio, these will most likely sound great with the right amplifier. Be aware that these will take up a lot of tower real estate so plan accordingly, especially if you have swivel board racks. I have smaller Kickers mounted on my tower and with a full load of boards things can begin to feel cramped.
