Took forever to find a good review that showed the screen from anything but straight-on, and the screen is super duper glossy, which kills it for me. Great price for the specs, and stellar battery life, if you can live with a really glossy screen

After you use an anti glare screen can't go back.

I'm now concerned about the OLED screens that ASUS uses. Been completely happy with the screens ASUS put in my Q540 Creator and in the Vivobook S 15 (the $750 Walmart exclusive), both of which are higher resolution (2.8K or more).

I've tried 4 different Q425M Zenbook 14's (they're supposed to be better, right?) and 3 of the 4 have a noticeable brightness flicker on bright white screens that is random, but frequent and annoying. It's very slight, but once you see it, you can't not see it.

So not sure if this Zenbook 14 also uses the same screen, but buyer beware.

These days the AMD naming scheme for mobile is pretty confusing. Pretty sure from searching that these are Zen 3 parts though so...

Either way, probably clearing out for the new lines of mobile processors.

Haven't tried the anti-glare film, but I own a slightly more powerful version of this and can vouch for its solid build quality and good performance. My only gripe is the touch-sensitive numerical keypad that shares the same real estate as the touchpad. I think the only way to disable it either requires mods to the reg keys or disabling after each power cycle.

Most, if not all, the zenbook models have soldered non-upgradable ram - which is very unfortunate
