Mine is heading back to Adorama. This speaker sounds like a $100 speaker. There is essentially, no special deal here.

I want to use this with my pc. Can someone recommend an entry level amplifier to drive this? Besides amplifier, what else do I need?

Seems this has been in and out of inventory at this price for several months, the parent company also owns Klipsch and like it they have different lines such as Monitor Supreme and Cinema Ultra

Get something with a tpa3255 chip. The FOSI TB10D would be my recommendation as it has bass and treble adjustment.

Yes, a class D amplifier like the Fosi is most energy efficient and small, with decent sound. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076XSB...F9kZXRhaWw

For driving 170W speakers? (Well, 100W continuous.) That FOSI looks like a useful product, but doesn't appear to have sufficient power for these speakers.

That's not how it works. 170w is the max power handling. 91 dB sensitivity, so anything over 20w into 8ohm for a smaller room and 40w into 8 ohm for medium sized room is sufficient. That FOSI will work just fine.

The 200W model is available for about the same price after coupon.

If you want to go deaf quickly, I assure you that the Fosi amp will accomplish your goal with these speakers.

Can you elaborate? I think I saw your comment in the other thread saying you liked the initial impressions
