My wife's iPhone 15 was unlocked after 6 months using the line, iam not sure if is necessary only activate once and keep in drawer or use day by day the line
Good price, especially if the regular 9 works for you. I was looking more for a 9 Pro, or maybe 9 Pro XL, but 128GB doesn't work for me - I keep more music than that on my phone. Also, their trade in program seems oddly limited, as they'll take a Oneplus 9 or 10t but not a 10 Pro or my 11.
Agree, 2024 and 128gb is way to low. Reminds me of apple. If everyone had a NAS, they might not need more than that. Most people just pay the online cloud storage options and just forget and let it fill up.

With that Metro Iphone 12 deal you are getting a phone with only 64gb. That is completely unacceptable since with all the installed apps you won't have much room for pictures, videos, or downloading mobile games. It's really sad they don't make more phones with an SD card slot.
can I sign up mint with one month $15 plan and purchase this phone for $399?
No. You have to buy a six month/$90 plan. If you are a new customer and qualify/jump through their hoops, they'll extend that to a year which is a really good deal at $7.50/month.

That's why I still have a Galaxy A-series and am not upgrading to a Pixel. SD card for music.
Certainly not as powerful, but does everything I need it to do.
I'm also a cheapskate:
- I like free/cheap "good enough for me" phones. They're fine.
- No way I'm paying for a big-bandwidth data plan for streaming music.
That's correct. But if you are an existing customer and buy this for $399, does it get automatically unlocked after 60 days? Do I need to insert my current Mint SIM to get this phone activated on Mint?
Yes, but you have to buy at least 180 days of service. So, unlocking after 60 days is kinda a pointless gesture. You can switch and they keep the money you paid for the rest of your service plan.

Existing customers should be able to buy the phones without buying service.
