after treating and scrubbing... do you vacuum with a shop vac? let air dry then vacuum? leave it?

my google-fu doesn't seem to work well this morning and can't find what to do after scrubbing.

Literally used this yesterday. Damn dog lol but used this before I went to bed to clean up a P spot, woke up next day and vacuumed over it since there is a slight discoloration to expect (beige, white carpet). Looks definitely better. We do have a Bissell pet cleaner that we bought from Costco recently still in the box but haven't opened it yet.

This thing is trash. Maybe it was user error, but this makes the carpet too wet and wasn't great for stains. I prefer the foaming kind, specifically Woolite Carpet & Upholstery Foam Cleaner. It works like a charm and doesn't leave the carpet too it like this does. I think I usually get it for $5 at Wal-Mart.
