I cater for 40 people on this traeger pretty regularly. I smoked 5 pieces of beef chuck for chopped beef sandwiches and 2 packs of chicken thighs on this model today all at the same time. It doesn't have any of the bells and whistles (wifi garbage) the higher priced models have.
It holds temp pretty well, it can struggle bus in the Denver winters to get up to temp super quickly. I usually cook around 275-325 depending on what I'm doing. One bag of pellets is usually good for 3-5 cooks depending on how hot you run it.
Cleaning it is easy. I'd recommend putting foil down over the drip pan before you even start. Just change that out every few cooks. I've squeezed every penny out of my traeger and I paid full price. Would highly recommend for a no-nonsense pellet smoker at $500. The biggest draw for me was the grilling space, this model has more space than most (all?) of the more expensive models.

How is app control? Can it be set for recipes for smoking? IE bring the probe temp to x and hold it at that temp for y
