It should be noted that these (all Glide floss and many others) are covered in PFAs (forever chemicals). I switched to bamboo woven dental floss

These are 2.9 cents/ yard on sale.

Bamboo floss is 4.2 cents/yard on sale every once in a while which we switched to. First time get the starter kit with the glass holder then just refills after that.

Glide floss is terrible, it just glides over your gums and doesn't get every piece of food out. I've been spending extra on weave floss like dr Tung because it expands and pulls shredded meat out much easier

Yeah after reading Glide has, by far, the highest concentration of PFAs, I switched to CocoFloss. It's harder to use than Glide but actually gets my teeth feeling cleaner than Glide did. But it's crazy expensive, which sucks.

Yup. One of the WORSE flosses on the market in terms of containing hormone disrupters.

The reason it "Glides" so well is because of the plasticizers they use to create that slippery feeling.

What about Oral-B Essential Floss - the basic floss that comes in the white circular container? Does that contain PFAS?

As my dentist once told me, "They call it Glide because it glides right past the plaque".
Unwaxed floss is the way folks. It's not a Slickdeal if the product is trash.

I returned this because this is oral b original floss and it's thinner than oral b advanced deep clean. It doesn't get into between tight teeth like advanced deep clean version.
