Oh, I, and very many long-time SDers, recall those times of getting those top-shelf Sears hoses, 50/75/100 ft., for way less than $20., seems like much closer to $10., but, alas, long gone.

There's Amazon photo reviews showing PVC doing what PVC does. If I was in the market ... well, I guess your tendency to throw $20 at the wall to see if it sticks depends on your valuation of $20.

and they are still going strong! Ace sells them now, I believe. Not so cheap but they last.

I didn't know that Ace sells the craftsman hoses thanks. I was told a while back by ace employee they stand behind the craftsman warranty. I wonder if they would stand behind the warranty on these as I still have them. There were a few differences over the years they went stainless before the end but my oldest ones were made with brass fittings.

I put craftsman hoses on all my properties about 15 years ago haven't had to buy another hose since

Had one of the brass fittings get cross threaded and cut that piece of the hose off now I'm wondering if I can actually get a warranty replacement

Thats why I like Apache hoses over Craftsman. Significantly better fittings.

Says brass fittings in the description but they are silver colored in the pictures...
Brass won't corrode and seize on your brass hose bib.
Is the picture right or the written description???
