Folks, just a heads up -- the "1500 Talk/Text/Data" isn't per month, it's for the entire year. It works out to about 4 minutes/4 texts/4mb data per day.

Unlock policy has been 60 days since November 2021 when Verizon bought Tracfone brands.

Speaking of tax, I calculated what I was charged. It was way off. When I called to question what tax rate they where charging me, the response was "tax is calculated BEFORE discount". But even after recalculating based on the original price I was being taxed a WRONG HIGHER amount than what my local tax was supposed to be. So I called again, to ask what rate I was being tax at, the response "it's automatically calculated" and they don't have a way to find out. I pointed out that they don't say any of this on the invoice or what the tax rate is on invoice either! So guess what? I'm going to contact my local franchise tax board and complain about QVC for over charging on tax! I'm still waiting for a response back from a supervisor about correcting their system with correct tax rates. If no response I'll have to deduct the excess tax from next years taxes. So keep those receipts and invoices!

I don't know how they are calculating the sales tax, but for me it is saying $43.09 after adding $7.11 in tax. pass.

Sounds like they're calculating tax on the original MSRP of $119, then factoring in the discounts.

Which they're not supposed to, but pffst, like that ever stopped someone.

every state has different taxes compared to other states for cell phones due to things like 911 that is in addition to local and state sales tax

Speaking of tax, I calculated what I was charged. It was way off. When I called to question what tax rate they where charging me, the response was "tax is calculated BEFORE discount". But even after recalculating based on the original price I was being taxed a WRONG HIGHER amount than what my local tax was supposed to be. So I called again, to ask what rate I was being tax at, the response "it's automatically calculated" and they don't have a way to find out. I pointed out that they don't say any of this on the invoice or what the tax rate is on invoice either! So guess what? I'm going to contact my local franchise tax board and complain about QVC for over charging on tax! I'm still waiting for a response back from a supervisor about correcting their system with correct tax rates. If no response I'll have to deduct the excess tax from next years taxes. So keep those receipts and invoices!

I suggest you watch the movie face off, do that, move, take on your new faces identity, easy, but careful, last time i did this i forget to check if the other guy was a former qvc customer

Another thing to watch out for at QVC, they automatically op you in for a Pay-In-5 plan! They NEVER prompted me during checkout that this was going to happen. I only discovered it after the fact when I checked my credit card bill and the invoice. I had to call them yet again to remove that Pay-In-5 business! If you buy something from QVC make sure you DON'T use Pay-IN-5! If you ever miss a payment it will DESTROY your credit rating!! I probably will never buy another thing from QVC. Very bad customer experience!!

Prepaid wireless emergency 911 charge on your prepaid wireless purchase (applicable in various states)
Police and fire protection fee on your prepaid wireless purchase (State of Wisconsin only)
Electronic Waste Recycling Fee (State of California only)*

Several states now require fees to be collected from prepaid wireless subscribers for their statewide emergency telephone number 911 systems for wireless customers. For more information on these taxes, please contact the tax department in your state."

Did you include the fed & state cell service taxes? It varies by each state and some are really high (Washington State, NY).
When added to the sales tax it always adds up to more than people realize. QVC has no option but to charge whatever your state requires.
