So, assuming my existing plan on my own device has phone number X, does the process look the following:
- Activate new Orbic phone - during activation select "I want to keep my old number" and transfer it to Orbic, which will have 1yr + remainder of my current plan.
- Activate next Orbic phone - repeat the above. The 2nd Orbic now has 2 years + remainder
- ... Go through the rest of the TEU Shipping container with unactivated Orbics repeating the above :-))))
- Use a new BYOD Tracfone SIM in the original phone and activate it using the existing line number thus inheriting all the accumulated time.
The last step worries me a bit given that Tracfone already has its IMEI in their database. I would really hate if some problem in their technically excellent </sarcasm> system left my line in limbo (had it once and never got them to fix it). Any problems I should be aware of?Sign up for a Slickdeals account to remove this ad.
If so could I buy both and use that plan for this phone?
