Solid price on a very capable watch. I'm including a great write up below, but TL;DR this is currently the top tier of the Foreunners from Garmin and what you're getting that the 255 and 245 don't have is a fancy AMOLED screen. Don't care about the screen? Snag the 255. Don't care about music or the screen? Grab the 245 used somewhere.

Garmin watches are fairly indestructible. As long as the watch isn't visibly cracked, should be just fine.

Both the 255 and the 265 have the latest and greatest GPS and GNSS tracking tech on the market.

If you don't need the battery life of one of the Fenix 7 models, grab this!

Edit: as others have corrected me. It's the top model of the non-touch Forerunners

(Side note- to really get full music capability you need to be paying for a premium music service. Amazon or Spotify- no Apple Music on a Garmin).

I love Garmin watches, but they have a tendency to break where the watch strap meets the watch face housing. If the face pieces crack, just even a tiny bit, it will break pretty easily by even wearing it snugly. I have had two different watches do that exact same thing, and their forums have tons of posts about the housing defect issues. Garmin's customer service is hit or miss about the watch housing breaking should you go that route for a replacement.
