However NACS has been named the standard going forward, so the rest will be phased out (slowly).

Ok folks, I have a good news. I was able to get hold of someone at Wallbox and she told me that they have all orders info. She even opened my order using my order no. that I provided. Up until 19th Aug, they had normal orders but on Aug 20th, they received an influx of orders. 27 orders on 19th vs 400+ orders on 20th. Surprisingly, Fisker did not pre-inform them about the sale and they came to know about it when customers started calling them to inquire. I placed my order on Aug 24th and that day alone has more than 300 orders. She said Wallbox has more than 1500 orders from this sale. They have started shipping the chargers. It's just gonna take time to fulfill all orders. She was relieved when I told her it's out of stock on Fisker's website. Lol. The chargers will be shipped from Texas. She asked me to call again by next Thursday if I don't receive any shipping confirmation email by then.

She was surprised at the sales price and said she paid more than $400 when she got hers even after using her Wallbox employee discount. Lol.

Don't worry fellas, it's coming. Just give it some time😊. You never know it might just show up without any shipping confirmation email.

Great deal. Been waiting for the Emporia to drop to $300 again (new). Now to decide if I want 40A over 48A... but that shouldn't matter if I charge over night.

Decisions, decisions.
40 amp vs 48 amp doesn't matter much for home charging. I have my Emporia set to charge at 32 amps and I recoup my 85-90 miles of daily driving in a little over three hours every night.

This is the exact model sold at Costco for $500. It works very well and the app even tells you the exact amount the charge costs.

So will there be some type of adapter for folks with j1772?
Every one will need adapters for a while. Tesla users will need J1772 and Combo CCS, others will need AC J1772 to J3400 and Combo CCS to DC J3400.

Different use case, this is for hardwiring into the house on it's own breaker for it, it can charge up to 40 amps @ 240v (about 9.6kWh), depending on the breaker. You will need to use the Tesla adapter to change the connector to NACS though for your Tesla.

The Tesla mobile charger will depend on what outlet you have for it, you may have to buy the correct wall plug for it depending on what you available as a outlet for 240v. The max it can do is 32 amps @ 240v, which is about 7.6kWh or 15/20 amps @ 120v which is only 1.8 or 2.4 kWh on a dedicated circuit which means actually less, so more likely at 1.5 or 2 kWh.

Still good to have both though. The Tesla one can stay with the car since you have the hardwired one at home.

32A instead of 40A. No smart connectivity (app) and no power sharing for multiple on a single circuit. On the plus side the Tesla unit is dual voltage capable. (120/240V capable)

The largest difference is probably that the Tesla charger has a NACS connectors while the Wallbox is J1772. (adapter needed to switch)

Actually the listing says "Easy installation via a NEMA 14-50 plug." so its the similar install as the Tesla mobile connector for those that have 14-50 outlet in their garage.
The Tesla mobile connector has other adapters plugs that can be purchased separately as well.

NJ has a rebate for some level 2 chargers, including Wallbox Pulser models. Will this qualify? What's the model number of this charger?

This can be hardwired. When hardwired, it will support 48A.

Does the app let you fine tune the amperage or are there only preset amounts? If presets, what are the presets? My outlet is supposed to be rated for 50A but it struggles with 48A and will often trip the breaker. On my bmw charger the next lower preset is 32a but I think my outlet can probably handle 40a. Also, when the charge is interrupted for any reason, will the app notify you. My stupid bmw app does not, even though it's supposed to.
Can this do 110v level 1 charging with standard electrical outlet?

Hadn't thought about that. While fisker will be gone, wont the manufacturer of the box cover still?
