I believe the egift card is like a rebate from bose and cash only be used for subscription services listed on their site

Run like it's the plague people. I got two pair when they came out because they didn't have multipoint, and all I've done since is return them because they were all buggy. I just mailed them again yesterday. Before that, I just gave up and let them sit for about 9 months because it seemed pointless, and I thought maybe if I wait half a year or so they'll get the problems straightened out. I'll be surprised if the new ones work correctly, though. I'd save your money.

Well your waiting might have worked because it has multipoint now after a recent update

Multipoint is available on these now but it's not perfect. I was not sure if this is bose thing, but you could be on a zoom/teams call on your laptop with these, and if you phone gets a phone call, it switches automatically to your phone even before you receive or decline that call.. all this while you already had an active call over Bluetooth. I was curious at first if this is how multipoint worked, but turns out it's just a bose thing..

No issues to report with mine and they sound incredible, especially the spatial audio. I compared them to the Sony WF-XM5, WF-XM3, and Soundcore Liberty Air Pro 2 for reference.
