Don't store it in these. Risk of bacteria growth. Move it to the fridge. Stick to your routine.
You're introducing bacteria to your rice when you move it to your fridge. I don't care how clean your fridge is, there are listeria in there.

I'm assuming many folks here aren't familiar with this brand or the price range of premo rice cooker world. This is a premium brand, market leader, in rice cooker world - esp on luxury model wise.
Zoji is an older Japanese brand as mentioned by someone above Asian Boomer comment. I think electric pressure cooking for rice wise - cuckoo seems to deliver the best. If you started eating rice cooked the way it is cooked in pressure cooker, it's hard to go back to non-pressure cooked rice. Also, it cooks very quickly - 15-20 min at turbo mode.

An instant pot is better bang for your buck as a multitool. But IP makes terrible rice. Compare pressure ratings and capacities between models to decide what you need. I have a large IP and a small Cuckoo. I bought my best buddy a Zoji for his wedding; he has an IP as well.

But honestly, I held off on getting a rice cooker for years because I don't eat much rice and just cooked rice and other grains in the stove. My wife needs a rice cooker.

Very poor taste. A zojirushi in what those who know use.

What happened is Americans were buying quality items, so the cuchkoo brand successfully infiltrated the market by creating a ROHS stamp to make it look like is was low lead compliant while cutting costs and undercutting the real rice cooker brands then paying people to promote it on SD.
What a snobby take. Zoji do have better quality control but you pay for that in $$$. Expect to pay 50% to 100% more. You also have to sort out Japanese-made from Chinese-made Zoji, which is annoying, but a one-time decision. Zoji is also woefully behind Cuckoo lately, introducing pressure technology only very recently and for a lot more money. If some faceless corporation gifted me a choice of Cuckoo's top product or Zoji's top product, sure I might choose the Zoji. But for my money, Cuckoo. But I'd compare features to see which one met my use cases anyway. They're quite different.

All Cuckoo are from Korea. The Korean consumer market tends to be halfway between the US and Japan or EU. You get better safety standards and people who care about their wares compared to US. But they also sometimes cut corners compared to Japan. Industry stamps and certificates are a joke; what matters more is company reputation. You think all the ROHS stamped products coming out of China are for real? Anyway, we're not in the EU; such ROHS stamps are a joke in the US. I'd trust a Korean-made product one hundred times over an American product and ten thousands times over a Chinese product.

this pressure cooker one cooks significantly faster than the Zojirushi. You can also adjust the heat setting to crisp the bottom of the rice, I prefer mine plain/soft, but nice as an option.
Name checks out.

Lexus VS Hyundai = Zojirushi VS Cuckoo

Not sure that's a snobby take, but people pay up more for one brand than the other. Although the latter is certainly catching up.
My personal opinion is more of Sony vs Samsung. I feel like Zojirushi is stuck in the past. Does it make quality product? Yes, however it's so old school and stuck in the 90s way, just like many things in Japan are. However Cuckoo does things a bit differently, faster, and many different functions for different type of rice and preparations settings so I like it over my mom's Zojirushi.

As a Korean who owned many rice cooker, let me say this.

Size matters.

Rice cooker comes in 3cup, 5 cup, 10cup

If you only need to make 1-2 cup at a time. Get a 3 cup

5 cup need at least 3cup at a time.

10 cup rice cooker like this…. Will not cook small portion right.

/// these pressure cooking rice cooker take up a lot of space.

And more pressure does not mean better cooking

I use $300 Japanese rice cooker. And quick mode, the rice taste worse. Regular mode I give better cooking.

These pressure cooking is decent for mixed grain cooking.

What you want is cooking rice without break it down( texture survive )

Unless you have multiple people living in house…… 10 cup is not needed, and can yield poor result

I have Zojirushi 3 cup Induction rice 🍚 cooker.

With short grain rice, I can even tell difference between "Quick mode" vs regular mode.

Wait a second, is the multiple day thing specifically for this kind of cooker?

I've been eating rice my whole life, and we usually just throw the leftovers in the fridge.

I've also never had a big enough family to regularly have a 10 cup machine, and always figured these things were for restaurants and big families.

But if you're keeping rice warm over several days, I can see where several cups is easier to go through

All of my rice cookers have been glass tops, including my current zojirushi, which is really nice
I believe keeping rice perfectly ready-to-eat for at least 3-4 days is almost a baseline feature on modern Korean rice cookers. I was introduced to this only after getting married to a Korean.

Prior to that, for years I used to use what I had thought was a good Black & Decker rice cooker - the Cuckoo is not even on the same solar system as that one.

Rice in the B&D cooker would dry out and get crusty within 4 hours. Cuckoo rice looks, feels, and smells fresh-made more than 72 hours later. It's almost magical.

Wife thinks Zojirushi is inferior BTW, for people considering that brand.
