I had these awhile ago. Clamps are weak and the bottom tray cannot support any appreciable weight. These are twice as much, but so much better. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI...lsrc=aw.ds
They're pretty good. The clamps are okay but sawhorses are good.

Last time, few years ago, when these were on sale on ebay for $30, they shipped me a whole box of 5 sets. That's was a ultimate deal. I kept a set and sold the rest.

I got these last time from the Sam's deal... I think they were cheaper then, just like everything else.

I tried to go back for a 2nd set, but the deal was over. Ive been waiting for the deal to return!

I just picked up another set... Now i have everything i need... Thanks, OP!

I have two of these, for about 4 or 5 years now. They act as very good benches, but agree with what you said about the bottom tray not supporting anything. In fact, the way the clamping system works on the bottom tray, they never fold up with the bench.

Having said that, they are good for what they are ... someone without the room in the garage for a proper bench, and portable enough to be used around in the garage or outside.

I own the Works Pegasus Folding Work Table/Sawhorse. When it's on sale, I think it is priced appropriately for what it is. I do find the clamps to be pretty weak. I think many others have said the same thing. They seem to work fine if you think of them as a 2nd set of hands instead of super human grip strength.
For these sawhorses, I suspect about the same.

Got these from Sam's a couple years ago, maybe 2022, when they went on sale for $29.99. It seems $59.99 was the regular price back then.

These are used often as my go-to for outside projects and I have nothing negative to say about them. Would buy them again if I ever need to. Yes, they're plastic, but they're light and durable and strong enough for any residential-grade job and fold away neatly.

I use 2 (sometimes 3) 1"x12"x6ft boards to create the table-top and use the handy clamps to lock them in. The bottom tray is good for paint cans or hand-tools that you don't want to lay on the ground and support the weight of anything sized appropriately to fit in that space.

I suggest finding something similar. I had these, in my opinion they are not very stable. The legs do not open as far as similar saw horses and therefore tend to tip a bit easier. One example is when you set material in them and slide the material across the top of the saw horse they often want to tip. I do not experience this with similar saw horses that I have. There are enough other options available in the big box stores to consider
