Notice it's 16 gauge wire good for only about 1,300 Watts of power. So good for light duty, Christmas lights should be fine, but anything which draws closer to 15 amps (1,800 Watts)..like a circular saw, it's NOT a good, or safe choice. Cord could overheat & burn out, or motor on device you're feeding juice to could be injured
