Wow they do not advertise it but according to the HP manuals pdf laptops with these two processors do not have expandable memory. The NVME according to the manual can be upgraded to 1tb. https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/pdf-p...n-US-1.pdf

It's still Zen 2 architecture with a measly 4 cores, so performance is quite bad even though it got refreshed. The performance is nearly the same as it was 5 years ago when Zen 2 launched. While the iGPU also got updated to RDNA 2, its only 2 CU's so its a nearly worthless upgrade since games will be 20FPS at 1080p low.
If someone treats this as a glorified web browser and text editor, its perfectly fine. But for everything else its just really bad performance these days. It's cheap because its bad AND refurbished.
I'd HIGHLY recommend anyone considering this deal getting this other recent deal instead:

The i3-1215U runs circles around the Ryzen 5 7520U in every metric, its brand new AND its a touchscreen for only $60 more, well worth the extra money.

Even with older Zen 2 cores: Still far better than the junk with Celeron CPUs that is usually available at this price.
