The Deco is dual band, while the Linksys is tri band. The Deco doesn't have a USB port for NAS, while the Linksys does. The Deco supports mesh. On paper, the Linksys doesn't support mesh but I've seen people having success using it as mesh (https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=172279275&postcount=80), and I assume future OpenWRT support will provide mesh.

The Deco supports a higher theoretical max speed on the 5ghz band but I doubt you will be able to get that, and it depends on the ability of your receiver. Plus, operating in mesh mode will reduce speeds since each satellite node needs to dedicate time to communication with other nodes. In a tri band setup like with the Linksys this is less of an issue since you can dedicate one 5ghz radio to that node to node communication.

The Linksys also has a large amount of RAM and storage since it was designed for enterprise. I'm doubtful the Deco is so powerful.

One unknown is actual radio performance per router. However given that the original retail price of a single one of the Linksys routers is the same as 3x of the Decos, I'm gonna guess that the Linksys is probably better.

Finally, obviously the Decos don't have any custom firmware development.

So, aside from official mesh support, I think the Linksys is probably the better choice. If OpenWRT or DD-WRT matures for the Linksys, it will be an even better deal.

Your Xfinity modem/router would be put into bridge mode to disable its router from NAT duty. Then either use your existing router and put these mesh nodes in access point mode. Or, remove the netgear router and connect these mesh nodes in router mode to your bridged modem.

I see it avaliable around chicagoland area... This is a great deal for people who have sub 1Gbps internet but over 500Mbps as you will realistically get around 700-800Mbps at the top end but consistently should be able to pull 500ish with newer gear.

How does this worked , can I use bridge mode with an xfinity modem? Currently using a netgear nighthawk router
Yes you can, you would just swap out the nighthawk for this.

I have the x60 and was wondering if buying these would improve my speed or coverage? I currently have 1G with Comcast and get ~700 mbps on average. I only use them wirelessly currently.. Would this be an improvement or should I wait for a deal on tri-band?

Is this good to buy just as a backup or will the prices keep on dropping?

Thank you for confirming. It's definitely a mess up on instacart as the previous sale in store was $249.99 - $70 = $179.99 but now it's on clearance and instacart didn't remove the $70 off. It ends tomorrow (8/25) FYI

Instacart can be hit or miss, depending on inventory or delivery staff's hunting, even though the orders are placed successfully.

Ugg Instacart said something seems suspicious and canceled my order with 48 hours to verify documents? wtf
Will the prices be the same in store if I go there when they open in morning?
