Why would spend $8 pm a vudu 4k digital when you could spend 9.50 and get 4k disc and a blu ray disc and also get digital copy?

FYI if you have the BR version, this may not worth the double dip, unless it's a must-have on the best format.

The PQ transfer isn't that great and the AQ adds Atmos but not a big improvement over the very good DTS-HD BR version.

On a good proper setup maybe but not worth the double dip imo.

It requires a Blu-ray player to play a disc. You don't need one for Digital. Moreover why do we need 3 different formats for one!!
Well VuDu requires a subscription fee and you also need internet service on top of that.

Yes you own the player just like you own the movie also.
Yes you get 3 versions including digital, not everyone has UHD/4K.

Let's not forget digital is inferior to disc in quality especially on the AQ side.

I have no idea what you are talking about, there is no subscription fee for Vudu. Your options are to buy or rent only.

The digital and 4K versions do not expand to IMAX ratio the way the Blu-Ray version does right? I want to experience this scene in 4k but not sure it's possible https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/c...y_changes/

But you do pay monthly for Internet, more for UHD/4k streaming.

That's kinda the point, you get to own AND rent for this price.
You only get to rent it with VuDu.
I don't think internet is the point, since we are on slick deals a simple one would be to sell the disks keeping the digital version. There are still people like me who prefer disks over digital version. Today's streaming is not a quality as disks do.

edit: It is just a $1 less than everywhere else, so this must be a shill post on behalf of the 3rd party seller.

Internet came up because he brought up having to buy/own a player for disc insinuating there was no cost to streaming.

I do the opposite I sell the digital code usually to a couple friends for around $3-4 making this a "slicker" deal! ๐Ÿ˜œ

IMO if I choose to watch a movie why would I bother with digital when I have the best content available in disc!

Especially on the AQ, streaming is lucky to be DVD quality!
Even that's a stretch if you have something like virtual X or Auro 3D!

I get BR = Blu-ray, but can you tell me what PQ and AQ are? I cannot figure it out. ๐Ÿ˜‚
