I've used Walgreens before. I prefer CVS a little more, and other "real" shops more still. But sales only happen when they happen and where they happen. Walgreens quality is by no means professional, but for a casual buyer it's fine. Note that the paint CAN scratch off if rubbed or scraped, so handle it carefully. You may choose to use a liquid varnish on it yourself after receiving it. Sometimes that can also help deepen the dark colors & contrast of a photo with deep black portions

Agreed. Walgreens is good for free 8x10 or cheap 2 dollar items. Cvs is much better if paying more

My Mom is a pro nature photographer and I usually have one of her pics printed every time one of these deals comes along. I tend to agree about CVS being slightly better but for as far as quick and easy you can't beat either of these places and I've always been satisfied. No it's not mpix or some other mail order place but ease of use you can't beat it.

How interesting. I have plenty of both Walgreens and CVS canvases around my home and my Walgreens canvases are much higher quality than CVS. I'm sure it varies from store to store.

Suggestions.
Select black edges, instead of image wrap. Black edges will help the picture to "stand out" from the wall. Also, the whole picture is visible. Why is image wrap the default? It is easier to print.
Because of the nature of the beast with canvas you can get away with less of a resolution or sharpness than with other types of print.
For hanging use the wire and hook method (disregard the sawtooth hanger with which it comes). Use braided wire and very small eye screws on the inner frame.

Most likely so.
