I bought some and noticed the Costco version were higher quality but essentially the same. Basically there were some areas where the plastic around the edges was a tad more rough. I'd still buy these though - especially if you're just using it in your garage.
I'd totally get the clear version of these over the black ones from Costco - it's def nice being able to see inside them.

Ate these the same quality that Office Depot/Max sold around 5 years ago? They had thicker sides like the older Members Mark ones had that doesnt easily bow in and out. Everyone's seems to be thinner walled now.

Genuine question: just wondering why these are called totes? I was always under the impression the term referred to bags you could 'tote' around, not huge plastic boxes...

Just a helpful reminder: Those rack systems people build that suspend these by the rim have failure written all over them.

Do yourself a favor and use proper shelving.

Don't be silly, those racks work fine, and you can modify it so it holds the bin from bottom as well giving it more support for heavier stuff… heaviest bins go on the bottom.
