This is what they called the Definitive Collection because it contains the Greek Myths. The Complete Collection didn't have the Myths. So Vudu got the wrong title, but it has the Myths. And HDX. Thanks OP!

Love this show. I own it on Amazon. I don't know if this version is the same, but I hope it doesn't crop the original 4:3 version.
Edit; I just checked HDX is not cropped. It's in native 4:3.

I bought this on iTunes a few years back when it had been "remastered" but it was only cropped to fit the widescreen TVs of today. I bought this current version hoping that it would be better. It was remastered to its original form, thankfully, and I think it does look a little cleaner. Many of the scenes from the show are dark or hazy, so the remastering doesn't show through perfectly. It is still an upgrade from the previous version and a must have for Henson fans.

The dog steals the show, but it is all well done. The dog has more empathy than a lot of humans.

Trying to think back if I saw any of these growing up. I used to love Jim Henson stuff. I dont use Vudu at all so I dont like being limited to a stream only purchase.... You cant download and store for your own use with Vudu correct?

First found this show 15 years ago when Netflix had just started doing streaming (which at the time was included FREE with a DVD in the mail plan for like $8 a month) and man…I have always been a sucker for the vintage charm of it. Love to watch it in the fall too since it kinda has that feeling. Wouldn't recommend it for kids though since there are some scary moments & comical gross-out stuff like a guy's ears and fingers falling off. But if you like British/Monty Python/LOTR humor, it's a fun watch, especially considering the fact that all the special effects are practical, no CGI…but at the same time visually interesting.

Unfortunately, you don't own it. Amazon is letting you rent it without expiration while having the right to pull it at any time.

Imagine thinking all that is necessary to say every time you buy something digital.
