Yes. All Marriott promos work as long as you're registered prior to the stay and the stay falls within the eligible date range. Doesn't matter when you actually booked the stay.

Sometimes just need these 6K points to stack on top of free night certificates to account for dynamic pricing. So if you happen to need 2 stays it does not hurt

Does this apply to existing reservations? I didn't think I saw any language that said the stays had to be booked after registering for the promo.

Yes. All Marriott promos work as long as you're registered prior to the stay and the stay falls within the eligible date range. Doesn't matter when you actually booked the stay.

Wondering what they meant by MGM collection

"MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy encompasses sixteen of the MGM Resorts destinations, now part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio."

It's the MGM casinos in Vegas and 5 other locations (Borgata - Atlantic City, Detroit, Biloxi, "National Harbor", Springfield Mass.)

Not sure why this is front page. Bonus points is nice but is common (not "a deal"), and this is very low value for a moderate spend.
