Based on experience, expect to see a dropoff of power from a leaf blower after a 100 foot run with a 16 gauge extension cord.

Your fixed mistake was a plug in leaf blower, not the cord

For a drop light and drill battery charger? Seems like overkill.

Very limited, low-power uses for 16g at 100'. Wouldn't pay 20 bucks for it either.

It's sorely obvious that you don't understand wire gauge.

16gauge 100' has very limited usage for most people.
