Just FYI - it's been $30 since it was released. Based on what I've seen it's a great value.

I'm tempted, but I have so many knives as it that I rarely carry some of them. But, I've heard nothing but good reviews on the Pyrite. I find the blue with the blacked out blade quite pretty for a piece of man jewelry. Definitely a solid value.

Just got mine a little over a week ago. Extremely lightweight won't even notice it's in your pocket. It's very rare that I cut myself with knives, but with this knife, not one, not two, but thrice all on the same day work. (I do food prep and use it to cut down boxes/open packages and slice saran wrap). But I'll just chalk that up to little sleep i got previous night. Plus, this is a first for me with this shape of blade. If you're like me and have no experience with this type of geometry be wary on how thin the entire knife is. Downside to having such a lightweight + thin design is finding a secure grip quickly if cutting from multiple angles. It doesn't feel like a knife but a toy in a good way if that makes sense. It does drop shut straight out the box no need to mineral oil it up. For me this was a no-brainer purchase especially since the knife comes in a cool pouch that's velvety smooth on the inside with a microfiber cloth and a sticker. I mean, cmon you can spend $500+ on a spyderco knife and the only extras you get is single sticker. Spyderco and all these other knife companies who charge top dollar need to step your shit up. Okay, rant over. Hopefully my two cents helped in your decision making. Over and out peace ✌️

I have the Ti scale version of this and carry it a lot - very good ergonomics and gets more pocket time than a lot of others that are even 3x or more expensive. Blade steel is very impressive for a budget steel.

FRN handles, hate them (cheap plastic feel). But if all you want is super lightweight, it's great for that.

This is different than the Pyrite. It is slightly longer, contoured handles (FRN with inset liners) and thumb studs. The increased length actually makes this forward choil usable, and the contoures handles are nicer to grip. Overall better profile but cheaper materials. Ironically, my G10 alt pyrite is lighter (2.5oz) than my pyrite light (2.8oz).

Good knife companies give you spare hardware also.

I really like this knife. I have knives that all generally cost more than what I paid for this with this deal. It flips out and back in Always for me. That instills confidence for me to take it as my casual carefree edc. I have 2 weeks of knife carrying experience so take what I say with a bag of grainy salt 🤣.
It's slim/slender too compared to all the other knives I have. I got the metal/silver version of this as well and I much prefer this. Lighter, more balanced.
As one of posters mentioned, you do get a pouch, which I actually really like. New to knives but this has already become my favorite even though I have several other common 'favorites'

Received this the other day. Whoever said this was light, we'll yeah it's a super light knife. Can't say I'm a big fan of the blade style but the knife is otherwise just what I'm looking for. Thanks OP.

Surprised by the quality for the price and yes I cut myself 1st time handling. Great action, just watch out when closing. I still like my Kershaw Blur better but this is worth having.
