More on the linear side, even though it is an open world game. Much smaller than the likes of odyssey or valhalla. Great game for those that need to have a game that dont require your life to play.

I looked into it and yes apparently all Ubisoft ps4 games that have a ps5 version are free to upgrade

Is this more linear or open world? Wanting something more linear and not so massive in map size.

Honestly I'd expect this to become a part of either PS+ or Game Pass within the next few months anyway. Good for thought in case you're still on the fence like me

This was the best Assassin's Creed in years.
It went back to it's roots and plays more like the original games.
If you are expecting the 50, 60+ hour grindfest that the recent games have become then you'll be disappointed.

If you're interested in this game at all, this is a great price to pick it up. I don't think it'll be lower than this for another year at least.
Ubisoft games go down in price over time, but they typically plateau for a while. Woot has been liquidating Amazon's stock of these for a while, so it's dipped below the standard price curve.
