Placed an order for back order but seems kind of pointless. How many in excellent condition sets can one realistically expect them to restock anytime soon?

It has 2 slight scratches on one of them. It works fine and still has 4 to 6 months left of warranty from the 3 I got.

I didn't encounter any issues and got it resolved from the first attempt. I told them I didn't cancel the order and I still wanted the item. The CS agent told me that she needed to check with someone else. Took a few minutes of waiting and then offered me the gift card.
Try again and insist that you didn't cancel and you've been waiting for a long time and still want the item.

I wasn't told to place a new order. They instantly applied $290 to my gift card balance without any expectations from me.

Looks like this is all about luck.

I was told "you can check the product page from time to time to see if it is available."

I checked back after 24 hours and didn't see the refund on my order (I initially wanted the refund back to my credit card). Chatted and they apologized and asked if I would take Amazon credit for the full order instead, $523. Chose that.

Don't know if the previous agent was trying to dupe me lol.

My order was cancelled about a week ago. I waited a few days and called Amazon. Was told they couldn't do anything and a supervisor wouldn't be able to help either. I politely asked to speak with a supervisor anyway. (The reps must be penalized somehow for escalations).

Supervisor allowed me to order a new, shipped by Amazon, lightning version (renewed was almost the same price) and they would refund the $285 difference if I called back once they arrived. The rep made a note on my file stating such and emailed me a copy too.

When I called back to get the difference refunded the supervisor stated they will be refunding the entire amount (400 plus tax). Not sure how this happened — a Christmas miracle I guess.

after few chats and waiting months, order got cancelled. chatted after order got cancelled, rep said to order and I will get price difference. I ask him to send me links of the ones I can order, he sent me link of new usb c version. I ordered on the spot and sent him the order number, he added note of price difference on order. when the headphones arrived, I chatted with rep and it had to get escalated; got $370 amazon gift card couldn't get it back on my card. Happy with my new headphones! Thanks to everyone on the thread for the tips.
