The DC-only model is a different type of product: significantly lighter and more compact, more & more powerful USB ports, unique area light, no AC outlets.

The C300 AC is closer in size and weight. It has more & more powerful USB ports, including one that supports 140W input; EB3A has 1 100W output, no input. The EB3A has twice as much peak AC power and solar input, plus a wireless charging pad on top. C300 app supports WiFi and Bluetooth, just Bluetooth for EB3A. C300 has a 5 year warranty (3 years for DC model), vs 2 year for EB3A. Anker has a better reputation for support as well.

I own a EB3A and the C300 AC looks like a better comparable unit - but to be honest I think the C300 DC is a better device for most use cases for a small power station. It's got enough juice to run a DC fridge, CPAP or other DC devices, more USB ports for keeping a family's devices topped off, plus a truly useful area light. All that and a cheaper, lighter, smaller unit; and if you really need occasional AC power, you can run a small 100W inverter off the DC port.

AC outputs on small power stations are fine for a narrow set of use cases, just very limited by both maximum power and short runtimes. A larger power station will be more useful for AC loads.

It doesn't need it. Without AC output there is nothing to switch to, the AC input and DC output are separate from each other and can both work simultaneously.

Too small for heaters to be actually useful for heating.

Could get some usage off a 12v heating blanket? Wont keep you toasty warm but will be better than nothing.
Also, the only color I've seen 12v blankets in are white and tan-ish. Might need some camo for the blanket?

Buyer beware... I have the big brother c1000 and trying to return it with Anker. Have various issues with mine (only 2-3 months) and the customer service has not been good so far. I have vids of all my issues and will probably make a youtube vid soon.

Yes, i had lots of issues with anker high end products too. Seems like their appeal is just aesthetics and marketing. Idk.

Honest question, what are the use cases people buy these big battery packs for? I have a 24,000mAh Anker and it's the largest I'm willing to actually put in a bag and travel with. Genuinely curious what people use them for.
Automotive. You can leave this plugged into your cigarette lighter and it will charge while you drive. When the car is off, you can keep many things running such as a dashcam or any other electronics.

That's a shame, I've been looking at a F1500 for a while now waiting for a major sale. Funnily enough, every single time I look at an alternative company - someone comes out of the woodwork and lambast their customer service. Pecron, Bluetti, EcoFlow, Vtoman and now Anker. And I believe most of them too since shipping batteries back and forth is kind of a nightmare; it's not like the toaster you didn't like on Amazon which prints you a return label in 2 minutes.

Lack of a good number of reviews makes me hestitant to purchase over other products with several thousand reviews.

Well, this one has a dc cig port which is handy to power a portable fridge. I go to a lot of kids sporting events where I have to sit and wait hours in between events for them to compete. And having a fridge like a 12 volt bouge is pretty nice.

I had to use an EcoFlow River 2 Max and other times a portable 20A lifepo4 battery with a jerry rig 12-volt socket. So this is kinda nice.

I was reading in the manual that this should be used in the vertical orientation only for some reason. Where do you keep it? It probably won't fit in the car?

It's different use case, some of us want smallest package with big capacity. The DC version has more USB charging ports and much smaller

isn't it dc input and dc output or am I missing something. The USB-C wall charger is outputting dc? This is just a big dc/dc converter with a battery?
