$450 for Epix Gen2. Better than Prime Day pricing. You can shave off another $20 with Cabela's club membership. Still in stock as I type these lines.

There's a $300 Sam's Club deal but that is in-store only and is very hard to find. Please do compare this one vs. on-line deals.

Reminder: This is not the Sapphire version. To be honest, there isn't huge difference b/w the two (I have Sapphire).

Hope this works for you!

Someone gave a thumbs down on price probably because Sam's Club recently had it for $349 and can still be had in warehouse only but it's pretty scarce by now. Some warehouses have prices of $319, $299, or $261, just not widely available...I can only find one at a warehouse about 50 miles away for $349. Also, Sam's Club requires membership so not available to all.

But, if anyone is thinking about buying this watch at Cabela's...Military discount also gives you 10% off this price.

Thanks - I thought any reasonable person can make the differentiation of limited in-store vs. available on-line. Seems to be not the case.

I edited the description to reflect that after your message.

The flashlight is really why you'd want the pro.

I expect we will see more deals on this watch in the short term. This is already two generations behind current (Epix Gen 2 Pro, and now Fenix 8 which combined Epix and Fenix lines.)

Love that feature, and why I upgraded. Plus it was only $350 and I wanted the 42mm.

Sucks the Epix Line was killed for the ridiculous priced Fenix 8s.

The epix Gen 2 or pro would be a great alternative with most of the features of the Fenix 8 and a fraction of the cost.

I paid $499 during Prime Days for Sapphire, $50 for upgrade is worth the price, you're getting Multi Band GPS and 32GB memory, of course if this has usage in your case. For me, Multiband helps to catch GPS fix faster since I'm doing intervals going from indoor to outdoors - makes sens for me.

I've seen better deals, i'd wait. and with the release of the Fenix 8 that replaces this I'd expect more deals. The Fenix 8 doesn't really add much just some UI tweaks and diving mode

Keep in mind all the future f8 upgrades and enhancements will not pass down to epix pro or F7 pro.
So my epix pro 51 will not inherit all future new stuff in f8.

For example , epix gen 2 inherited hill score , endurance score and more from epix pro. Our epix pro will not inherit anything new from F8.

This is "official statement Garmin."
Due to entire new base firmware build.(source: dc rainmaker f8 written review )

Pretty shady they change UI and force upgrade sales.
