I played a few of the playtests and really enjoyed it and I am not a fan of Harry Potter. but yeah it had a cosmetic market and battle pass even then so I assumed it was a FTP game. They are saying that you can earn all those things with earned in game currency and I suppose that is much much cheaper than buying things over time, just don't think people will want to pay for it at launch unless it is very popular. That said, apparently the last playtest a couple weeks ago changed the game a lot and made it not good. Wasn't aware they had one so I missed out.

I just got a PS5, not having one since PS3. If I get the free game and lapse the sub, will it still be there when I resub?

I literally bought it for NCAA FB, but going back and playing some exclusives with my sub — GOW, Uncharted, ect

Yes when you resub you regain access to previously claimed games.

I think it was originally planned to be in Hogwart's Legacy, but they decided to make it it's own game. Whatever happens it will be a guarantee that it will be more of a success than the dumpster fire Concord was.

But as long as you "claim" it, it will become available again if you cancel and then restart. You'll only be able to play it if your sub is active though. Therefore, it's always a good idea to 'claim' the games when/if you can.
