The whole industry is moving to RAM on SOC model aka LPDDR5x ...for commoners it's soldered RAM.

Device manufacturers want to save space and maintain low voltage thereby no heat.

You can have at least 3-4 chrome windows with that kind of memory and no spinning wheel. Imagine the possibilities!
shame nobody else like Amazon has matched it. Too many deals so I imagine Apple is going big this Fall with M4.

Was disappointed that I originally missed this and saw tonight that one was in stock! Assuming an SD user must have returned it - thank you whoever you are!

Why do you think it's on sale? šŸ¤”

128 gigs of ram and only 1 TB SSD is wild. Such a lopsided spec IMHO.
Not really. You can take advantage of the RAM depending on your uses (if you're just browsing, it would be a waste) but you may not always take advantage of the storage (nor should you). If you need more storage, get a NAS.

agreed, is 8TB possible? The space is really out of line compared to the ram.

Yes...Lenovo Thinkbook P series. 96GB ram and RTX4000ada. Going for $3700ish (after 3000 off) in their website.

But nobody cares...šŸ˜‚

For those complaining about storage, my M3 has an SD slot which might help for photographers.
I have a 4TB NVME drive attached to my dock, so internal storage isn't an issue. I only use internal storage for applications, all my assets go on the drive.

…a disc drive? laugh out loud like for optical discs like CDs? What year is it? Who uses discs anymore?

If you're living in 2014 and still use DVD discs, you get an external drive. I literally can't remember the last time I inserted a CD into a computer LMAO
