I use this mouse and although it's not "silent" the clicks are noticeably quieter.

no Unifying Receiver for Connecting Multiple Devices. thus it will take up another usb port if you are already using a Logitech wireless keyboard with unifying receiver.

The mouse is silent enough, someone could be next to you asleep and the clicks wouldnt bother them.

I think if you are using a keyboard with a unifying receiver you can connect the mouse to that receiver. I did this for a while back when I used a Logitech keyboard.

What? No. You can only connect to a unifying receiver if the mouse (or keyboard) has the orange star unifying logo. This mouse does not have the orange star unifying logo.

Wow, I never knew that. Two of mine have the star. Thanks.

The mouse comes with a dedicated USB receiver for wireless connectivity. A Unifying receiver is not included, but the mouse is compatible with a Unifying receiver if you already have one from another Logitech device.

Yes you can just do a search of Amazon reviews for something like this, unfortunately Logitech and Amazon doesn't make it clear but real world users who own it will state this.

Ok I had to google-fu for pictures of the bottom of this mouse. Neither Amazon nor Logitech website has any pics of the bottom of the mouse.
Indeed you are correct, the bottom of the mouse DOES show the unifying star logo. So yes, you can connect this mouse to a Unifying receiver.
