It should also be noted that it has been Frontpaged multiple times at $80, most recently just last week from Woot. $90 is still a great price but it isn't that slick anymore.

Are these really worth even $80? Unless they're you're first or second set of cans, I'd still say no.

Anyone have insight to how these sound vs the Tyger 300r? I just bought a pair of the Tyger headphones and they do sound really clear and nice, but there is practically no bass. I would prefer clear sound for gaming, but I do like bass.

The 599's are mid bass kings. More bass than X2HR, DT770. I tried the TYGR 300r but the sound signature wasn't for me.

I have to turn down the bass on these if I'm Not listening to EDM, etc.

These are great gaming headphones when you replace the cable it comes with with a cable that has a integrated microphone. Great for you PS5 gamers out there.
