Oral care deal that worked for me at SCO. 1 TB & 1 TP totaled and 2 $2 DQ's came off...returned and scanned 2 6.29 tiny MW - $2 DQ and $5 DQ came off. So 4+4+6.29+6.29-4/20 CRT -3 $2 DQ's and 1 $5 DQ = 5.58 and got 4 & 5 ECB's back. around 3.50 MM. YMMV.

Got nothing on printed receipt for 2nd card.

What is so exciting about Dove S&C? 3*5.49 - 5/3 dq + deodorant 2.6oz 5.99 - 2 dq (doubtful, last time did not come off even though it said 2.6oz in the description) = 22.46 - 5 dq - 2 dq(?) - 3/15 Dove S&C crt = 14.46 (or 12.46?) Get 7 ecb. I am using my higher in store prices, but even with lower online prices a lot more ecb spent than earned
Read $6 ib...don't do rebates so can't confirm.

Please report if weeklies extend and if Maybelline $2 ip works on cheap Maybelline like eye shadows
I tried $2 ip at SCO today on cheap mono eyeshadow ($4.99).
Got "coupon not accepted" message.

DQ worked only on the ones I got (new bottle).

Paid $6.97 plus tax.
Got $6 ibotta and $1 ibotta unilever bonus.

I was not aware of spend $20, get $7 deal.
I will get one more to complete the deal.

Nature Valley bars $4/2 and there are 2 x $1/2dQs
When I put them in online cart the total is $3.
Is that how DQs are now, or can I expect to pay $2 in store?

One card got $4 off anything email today.
I don't think I've used it this year
It's technically MILs card and there was .04 on there so she must have shopped at some point.

Widespread reports of extra care accounts being cancelled and all extra bucks lost !

Has anyone heard of actual reports of somebody being told the reason their card was cancelled ?

Should be $2 in the store. Online is it's own special world.

TIA

I'm in a couple of couponing groups and there have been A LOT of reports, starting earlier this year, I believe. They all say they "didn't do anything," but I don't know any of them personally, so who knows? My understanding is that CVS employees can report cards for "suspicious activity" (whatever that is). I don't know if the card automatically gets cancelled after that or if the manager or corporate or someone else has to "approve" the cancellation.

Never keep too many EB's on any card!

In addition to the comments already shared, I can confirm this has come up in a Facebook group I follow. Everyone always says they didn't do anything wrong, but I don't know them personally and they usually post anonymously.

Last year, there was discussion on Reddit by CVS employees of a number of reasons they could report a card for 'suspicious activity'.

One of these was using coupons for items that didn't match the coupon. I honestly don't know how many coupons are still coded in such a way that it has one product on the coupon but works on other items that are only related by the 'family code'. And I don't know how the CVS registers work with those that do.

One of these is using multiple cards. I cut out visits to most of the stores I used to 'roam' to in order to get more deals. In the time since, I mostly shop at two stores near me where the managers want me to shop more than I do now.

One of these is being ugly to the employees. I don't know if that is an 'official' reason an employee has approval to report a card, but based on their discussion, it seems the smart employees were planning to insert whatever they want in the report to get a card disabled if someone is ugly to them.

There's always more to the story. CVS doesn't go around randomly suspending cards for no reason. Being abusive to employees is never a good course of action so I can see where that could get somebody in trouble. Having a history of doing returns and the keeping the ecb's could get you in trouble. Doing things that are obviously wrong, like using coupons that expired in March, is never a good idea. I'm pretty sure that LP (Loss Prevention) would be involved with suspending cards. They would go back and look at previous transactions so it might not be something that you did in this transaction. CVS is a business and they want to sell things. They're only going to kick you out if they feel that you are doing things that cost them money.

I recently had a shift supervisor ringing me up report me because I paid with a gift card and refused to let her physically take possession of the card. I did allow her to take a close look at both front and back. She claimed this was "fishy" on my end. I don't think I did anything wrong, and what if she had taken my card and not given it back? Btw this was only my second time ever dealing with this person. I do know for a fact she called the store manager to complain - mgr was off duty and not in the store but she called their cell.

Wondering if this will get my card cancelled? I was planning to report this employee to customer service but maybe I shouldn't? (She treated me very disrespectfully the whole time was in the store)

I watched a YT video and she used two $3/2 Dove ip's plus the 5/3 and 3/15. It makes the deal a nice mm. I don't do Ibotta or ip's. Just reporting the deal.

Thanks for the Crest deal. I got the full-size Crest mw at $6.99 rather than the Scope concentrate for $6.29. It was still a great deal. I paid with $7 ecb's and my oop was $1.59 inc tax (tax really is a deal killer). However, if the cashier rang up everything at once, my oop was $2.59. I can't figure out why the $1 difference.

There's a lot of gift card fraud that goes on at CVS but if she said that you were doing something "fishy" and didn't have a damn good reason for saying that I would definitely report her stupid ass. I would've asked her on the spot to explain. It would give me more ammo for when I call customer service and get her fired. You can't talk to customers like that.
