I watched the review. Be aware that it is sponsored by eufy and there was not a real negative ever mentioned (all negative points I saw were softened).
Take that for what it is.

I have three of these cameras. The activity zones are 100% absolutely useless. And don't even think about using these to detect Vehicles pulling into your driveway because every single car that drives down the road will trigger the camera. Even if your settings of sensitivity or in the mid-range and it is way out of the activity Zone. As far as human detection it only detects people about 8 out of 10 times. I will literally have UPS park in my driveway walk up my 100-ft walkway and it does not trigger the cameras. but I will say the picture quality is very good and the solar panel is fantastic keeps the cameras fully charged at my location.

It's quite the opposite in general. 2,4 has a longer range and more stable signal overall, guess it's just a problem with your particular house/camera/router combination (e.g. too many different devices )

MSRP is $200 [amazon.com]. $139.99 is prime day price. OP price is a steal.

This is a great deal, I purchased it for 140 and I've been super impressed with it. Installed that my dad's rental property, every day it charges itself back up to hundred percent.

My dad's property is off a big road and we have the activity zone set for the driveway and there's days it picks up nothing because no one stopped by, so I feel some of these issues are having our user

I have 7 cameras and 3 locks, all from Eufy, other than minor seldom glitches - no issues.

Take that for what it is.

Does anyone know if these connect to Homebase 3?

I was looking at these to get one for each corner of the house since I believe these have motion tracking.
It does connect to the HB3. Much needed since without it, it only has 8GB of built in memory.

pair this with a eufy homebase 3 (S380) and you'll get additional on-site (not cloud) storage and features. Newegg has occasional sales for it for $100 (usually on amazon for $150)
Is that just motion recording to home base or can it be 24/7 recording. I have not seen any battery powered camera to support 24/7 recording.

HARD PASS - These constantly go to sleep per se and you can't pull up the video from your phone. Their hard wired models are great, but the solar ones do this all the time. I had it happen with this exact model using different routers and the same result.

In my case I returned two because they detected outside active zones, detected light fixtures as humans...so annoying... detected vehicles when it was not selected....and missed too many events.... Not only that they consumed too much battery and the solar cannot keep up
