I watched the review. Be aware that it is sponsored by eufy and there was not a real negative ever mentioned (all negative points I saw were softened).
Take that for what it is.

I have three of these cameras. The activity zones are 100% absolutely useless. And don't even think about using these to detect Vehicles pulling into your driveway because every single car that drives down the road will trigger the camera. Even if your settings of sensitivity or in the mid-range and it is way out of the activity Zone. As far as human detection it only detects people about 8 out of 10 times. I will literally have UPS park in my driveway walk up my 100-ft walkway and it does not trigger the cameras. but I will say the picture quality is very good and the solar panel is fantastic keeps the cameras fully charged at my location.

It's quite the opposite in general. 2,4 has a longer range and more stable signal overall, guess it's just a problem with your particular house/camera/router combination (e.g. too many different devices )

Just a heads up, my local Costco associates working that department hid that camera promotion. I had to specifically ask for it and they only allow me to buy one despite them having 15 in stock. The whole transaction seems so sketchy to me. I don't get it. Is this camera like gold or something?

Some Costcos didn't get the Eufy display. I went to one today that had the signs taped above the Apple stuff. I had to ask an associate and he told me about the display issue. They had 17 earlier today. The other Costco that had the display was sold out by Saturday.

I got a couple of these last year on the TikTok shop for about $100. This is the lowest I've seen since then. There's some good things about it but because of the time elapsed before it starts recording the clips, they were useless when my house got robbed. Basically catch a clip of someone running out of the frame

I have one and love it. It is overly sensitive, and it does have frequent false "human detected" notifications due to breeze and it thinks the decorative ball on top of my gate post is human head and shoulders for aome teason. But it catches 100% of vehicle, critter and human traffic going by. The sound recording could be better, slightly distorted and low audio. That said, I will be buying another.
the ai tracking is very good.

Do you have it with a home base? All my detection zones basically stopped working with home base enabled. With it disabled, I didn't have issues. Go figure. lol

Agreed too all of those...I have the same problems....Plus on top of that, it consumes too much energy. The battery runs down within a week. Solar panel is not reliable. It detected humans less than 50% compared to Eufy Wired floodlight cam

For eufy users, I have a eufy fiber print door lock and camera ring bell. They came with home base 2. Can I buy home base 3 without changing them?

I need outdoor camera and op looks good for but not sure if I can get this and a home base 3 and connect all three

I have 6 of these around the house, they aren't 100% perfect as others have mentioned but they do work well if you overlap the zones. Don't expect 1 to cover the entire side of your house. Since they're battery powered, these will not actively scan an area but will follow something or someone that walks into view. No issues with battery yet, but I haven't been through a winter season, and they've always been topped off even with the longest custom recording length.

This has to be the most unadvertised short sale ever for Costco. I wouldn't even know they had this, if I had not checked SD. My local Costco display was non-existent and this specific camera "cards" were hidden away somewhere else.

I went to Costco and picked up a couple of these but when I got home it didn't say anything about S340 on the box, it did say S3 and it appeared to be identical and there was nothing about Homebase on box as well. I couldn't find anything on the Eufy website.. Funny thing is the model number on the side of the box matched the S340 model number. Are these versions possibly gimped in some way, maybe no Homebase support possibly?

Why is this a popular deal? $30 off $150? And isn't this eufy, the company that lied about their encryption and when they got caught they doubled down and removed all prior claims of encryption?

Beware of Eufy, most of my cameras from Eufy and they have been working fine until recently. The video will not load, I have to try a few times for it to finally load. I've been trying with different networks even with my Gigabit home network so the issue is not my network.

Just because you have gigabit home network doesnt mean your wifi signal is good.
