sheesh, its exactly the specs i killed myself over trying to get in my custom build.. prebuilt and comes with a free monitor too ;( lmao

oh well, with tech you can never dwell on what you could've gotten instead. Depending on how much you value the monitor (~$200?) this is a slick deal.

7800x3d w/ 4070 TI Super builds all have been hovering 1700+
Seems decent but ugh…. NEWEGG. If you have any problems, good luck with customer "service". Took them nearly 2 months to refund me for a hard drive that they "lost" before UPS even picked it up.
Unless Affirm has changed their terms and conditions recently, you can sign up for their payment plan, get the discount, and then immediately pay it off to avoid any interest. I did that last year without issue.

An otherwise slickdeal but requires affirm payment so you're paying attention least $50 in interest. Made it a pass for me..

So what is the main difference between the one that shows up as 1929 and the one that shows up as 1899? The 1899 one comes with a monitor.

Been looking to upgrade my older 580 machine I have and Im just not up to speed on all the new hotness. They look similar but Im obviously missing something. Thanks

I have just been periodically upgrading my AM4-based system (now 5800X3D w/ RTX 3700), but would like to build (or buy, I guess) a new PC sometime this year to give this one to my son.
These are more-or-less the specs that I want to go with (X3D, GPU with at least 16GB RAM) -- am I likely to find something better for less around Black Friday? I'd actually prefer to build it myself, and there is a Microcenter within driving distance...

The MC AMD bundle deals are great to start with. I built my own with their 7800X3D deal...

MC just opened a new store an hour away, but I'm waiting until January to see what the 9800x3d has to offer since the 7800x3d has been known to bottleneck the RTX 4090.
I'm dying in anticipation drool while running an ancient 1600 with a Rx 470 4 Gb that struggles with 1080p on low settings LMAO

I am seriously looking at this. I have an old saav with a 580. Its fine, but Id like something a lot better.

You seem to know prices and worth. Is this worth the extra few hundred for the 4070 over the 7800 on the other one I saw listed yesterday for 1399 before the affirmed 10%?

I assume it is? Just always looking for cost and longevity. My saav still runs good but my daughter now hogs it for roblox lol. If Im going to buy another one for me, Id rather just get something nice that will go for a while. Thanks

You would probably be better off waiting a few months for next gen. 5090 & 5080 rumored to release Q4 this year and 5070 Q1 2025.

That said, I'm still super tempted to upgrade my 3060 TI now to a 4070 TI Super because Black myth wukong is a crazy awesome game

Sometimes I wonder if you keep doing that you just keep waiting and waiting though. Basically Im at the point my daughter uses my old pc all the time and Id like to use mine after work just to relax. Im old and dont do anything really anymore. I do enjoy PC games but I can play on xbox. Just some thing I miss about having a nice PC.

I'm having a hard time not pulling the trigger on this. These are the specs I've been looking to build, and even more money off with a free monitor? This may be too good to pass up.

That's exactly correct. You can time some sales and whatnot, but prices will always drop with new tech. Enjoy your PC as soon as you feasibly can.
