Dual band device vs. tri band like the LN1301. Tri-band devices typically have a separate 5ghz wifi band reserved for the mesh communication. While dual bands work they utilize the same band that your devices connect to reducing speeds up to 50% when compared to tri-band. Dual band should work fine for websites and light data but for streaming or heavy traffic networks tri-band devices are the best choice.

Buy two of the LN1301 & set up a mesh system. Much more performance than adding this and saved a $1.
